Yes learn all the positions very important . I find alot of guitarist do not know where all the notes are . Fact is if I were to try to find them all I could not as quick as demostrated here . Heck been playin over 40 years . Bet this video will not get a whole lot of comments . Its like the transmission of a car its highly negelected till theres a problem .

Good idea. This is great to incorporate into “Griff’s warm-up routine”: (all @ 60 bpm)
1.) Find notes exercise. 2.) Four finger, up and down frets exercise. 3.) Chord in CAGED 4.) 5 Blues Boxes
Then, go work on your lessons! (And you thought this guitar thing was all PLAY!)

I flippen love it!! Great idea!
I had a little bit of a learning curve. It’s gone now, thanks Griff!
Of course I am doing this by myself so it’s s little harder than having a group sitting in with you! I enjoy every minute of it!

No longer any need to ever again get lost on the fretboard. Brilliant. Thank you so much, Griff.

I needed this (again), but I incorporated a few other elements. Instead of a metronome I created a jam track of 8 measures in C. I try some blues block 1 licks in each measure starting at a different root note. Was really a good workout. I’ll add 8 measures of G next and follow the circle 5ths. Hopefully each of these components will finally sink in! Thanks Griff!!
